The Best of the Beat Farmers is a skimpy, 10-track survey of the band's career that covers their best known songs. For those who just need a taste, the album works well as a basic introduction. Liner notes would have been nice.

A good start

This is a good intro for anyone who has not heard the Beat Farmers, yet I'd recommend searching out the albums from where these songs originated. This easily could have been, and should have been, a double-record. Docked one star for not containing "Are You Drinking With Me Jesus."

Not a complete best of in my opinion

Also missing Lakeside Trailer Park!

This really is just a start for all the great music these guys have put out. RIP Country Dick. A true gentleman as well as a true nut on the stage. He's truly missed.
