Another gem

This guy is a great songwriter! Really gritty stuff. He used to be in a metal band called Bang Tango. Now he's doing his own rock/country/blues thing. Kinda like Tom Petty, but a better singer. Check out his other CDs too!

Amazing Album

You can tell this album was made with heart and soul. This is real music at its best...riveting...

Brilliant unique rock album

This album feels like a perfect and unique blend of "bluesy rock-and-soul". All throughout this album you hear the obvious influences of the Allman Brothers, Keith Richards, as well as the musical pedigree earned by every member of the band via their successful past projects with Bang Tango, the Chamber Brothers, and others. "Lies", "7am", and "Slow Down" are all gritty, dirty, rock songs which feature Mark Knight's passionate lyrics, and Mark Tremalgia's genius slide guitar. A surprise treat is the remix of "Monkey Boy", a long ago recorded pop song that has been re-done with less sugar coating and a more gritty slowed down pace drenched with reverb which turns this tune into a tasty blues song. Throughout the album is the undeniable chemistry that Mark K and Mark T have, whether they're playing guitar melodies together, or playfully playing off of one another, as if each is daring the other to go to another level. Overall, the song writing has hit an introspective, mature level that is obviously a result of the extensive touring done over the past couple of years by both Mark Knight and Tremalgia. Equally brilliant, and perfectly synched, is the acoustic work, only achievable by the miles and miles of "road sick" acoustic unplugged shows performed by these two. In summary, this is an extremely enjoyable and satisfying album perfect for fueling the drive of any summer road trip, or as a rocking set of tunes to add the perfect flavor to any summer party or just a laid back night at home.
