Customer Reviews

Great album from the ladies!

Funky and soulful. Miss Patti brings it, as usual. Patti's over-the-top singing is great, but I have always loved her softer side (listen to Gems) as well. She shows both here. The trio has made a terrific album. Loved hearing You Make Me Feel. Takes me back and brings it forward at the same time. Patti's strongest work in a long time. Together Labelle has made a great album.

Back To Now

I have been a LaBelle fan since their metamorphosis from Patti Labelle and the Bluebells to the legendary LaBelle this cd is Ahhsome. To hear the vintage harmonies ,I love it

A DREAM FULFILLED!

Patti, Nona and Sarah are back and better than ever. The album is rich, diverse and most important - full-throttle! Their singing has lost none of its luster. Favorites for me - Candlelight, System and The Truth Will Set You Free. I learned the whole of Nightbirds just as I was starting school in the early 1970s, so Labelle has been important to me my whole life long - I wouldn't lie to longtime fans - they bring it in BACK TO NOW! The only track I dislike (strongly) is Wyclef's production of Roll Out. One blemish in an otherwise perfect piece. And Patti hasn't sounded this free since the 1980s. Enjoy!

While Patti naturally seems like the focal point in hindsight, the group was also blessed with a talented and prolific songwriter...
