Misfits is a collection of rarities and oddities that Sara Hickman has released over the years, including her concert staple "Dumptruck," and covers of "I Think I Love You" and "Zippity Doo-Da," and a recording she made when she just seven years old, as well as collaborations with Jackopierce, Brave Combo and Freddie Jones. While this album is primarily of interest of hardcore fans, there are a number of wonderful gems here that should entertain even casual listeners.

Sara Hickman was born on March 1, 1963, in Jacksonville, NC, but was raised in Houston, TX. She launched her professional career at age 14 at a Houston Oilers party with just her guitar and voice. Through the remainder of her teenage years, Hickman performed at bank openings, weddings, and even psychiatric units.
