Customer Reviews

My two main interests are ancient civilizations and extreme metal, so this album is exactly my cup of tea. Vocals are outstanding, lyrics are awesome, and the music definately invokes a feeling of being in ancient Rome. I'd like to see more bands theme their music around this part of history.

A side note: Behemoth's album "The Apostasy" is another extreme metal album with ancient Rome as it's theme for anyone interested.

One of the most epic and brutal albums out there!

Solid Album

I'm a long time kataklysm fan so I felt the need to have this in my collection. It's a solid album. I'm not totally blown away by it, and it's not the craziest thing I've ever heard, but it definitley is some strong material to listen to while waiting for a new Kataklysm album to drop. Great quality, good songs, and good album length as well. If your a 'kylsm fan, it's 100 % woth picking up.
