This most recent Macka B extravaganza on Ariwa/Ras could be subtitled Greatest Hits Live, as it features several songs from prior Macka B CDs performed during various concerts in Spain, Germany and Tokyo. Such hard-hitting staples as "Revelation Time," "Big Mack," "Unemployment Blues," "(Racists) Back Off" and "Buppie" were done in a furious fashion, thanks both to Macka B's relentless prose and hot backing from The Robotiks band (who should have been individually identified). This live concert has a passionate quality Macka B has seldom equaled on his CDs, although his writing and commentaries are always provocative.
