Rose Colored Glasses

Having followed Kelly Rowlands career from the beginning, I have seen a slow, but steady rise with her talent and voice. Having been as young as she was when she started with Destiny's Child (Beyonce, Latavia, LeToya, & Kelly, the original line up), she appeared to largely be relegated to the background. Beyonce was obviously the one who was supposed to get all the attention, she didn't get mine. I wasn't sure where this young lady, Kelly Rowland was headed, but I kept an ear & an eye on her. She has since put out two solo albums of her own, impressive though they are, I believe it's been only in the last few years that she has truly shown her colors & what she's capable of. Everything she has done has been great or impressive, but this is one woman who has some amazing talent. She is now showing a lot of that with her recent collaborations with dance maverick, David Guetta. They make an amazing pair. Her vocal's are strong and she has grown into something beautiful. Her music make's it all worthwhile! Her new single is testament to her amazing growth. Two thumbs up!

Kelly is here to slay this time!

Fresh off her success with French DJ David Guetta, Kelly Rowland is set to make her biggest mark on the music industry since her time with Destiny's Child. Her recent music has taken a surprisingly refreshing turn for the best marking the emergence of Kelly Rowland the solo artist rather than Kelly Rowland the member of a trio. Her past work, while definitely solid, has culminated into what I can only describe as Kelly's announcement that she is here to stay and may just show us why her time is not up.

Rose Colored Glasses is fresh, catchy, and most of all showcases the smooth and mature voice we came to love in the Destiny's Child era. However, this Kelly Rowland is a far more confident one than we're used to, though that serves her just right. This song deserves to become a smash. Kelly deserves it. Let's give it to her! Kelly is here to Command!

Top 10 Hit

This song is going all the way. I cannot understand why most Americans are such morons that they refuse to accept Kelly with arms widde open like THE REST OF THE WORLD. Commander has been a huge hit in all other countries, and now Rose Colored Glasses will be too. The song is slower than Commander but by NO means a ballad. The tune is catchy and is a mix of dance and rnb. Kelly tells those who offer criticism on her relationships that they don't know what she knows because of their metaphorical rose colored glasses. AMAZING song and mesage, very empoweroing, on loop on my ipod :) Do your thing Kelly!

Kelly Rowland rose to fame with the success of Destiny's Child during the late '90s. During that time, Destiny's Child catapulted into the new millennium as one of the best-selling female musical groups in history. Rowland, who was barely in her twenties, had been imagining such stardom for a long time. Born and raised in Atlanta, Gerogia, Rowland began singing as soon as she heard Whitney Houston. She was only four at the time, but Houston's 1985 self-titled debut was enough to motivate the little...
