A love letter to opera.

I’ve been following this opera since I first read that it was being comissioned. Eagerly awaited it and was not dissapointed when I first heard and saw it!
There have been some people who said that it’s nothing groundbreaking. Maybe it isn’t but I don´t care. It’s beautiful music. Period! I think that this piece has much more chances of reviving the public’s interest in opera than any other groundbreaking disonant crap. Opera is a visceral artform and people gravitate towards beauty. BRAVO MAESTRO WAINWRIGHT!
