Meh.

It’s a whole lot better then Time and Pressure, but it doesn’t really pass as a listenable album for me. It’s not good, not bad.

Enjoyable

There's a couple songs on this track that I'm going to wear out listening to for sure. S.O.A.R and The Bottom are really awesome songs. Overall the album is definitely worth checking out!

Every Component

Every member of the band plays their part in making the sound great. This is exactly the type of rock that I prefer. I love the voice transitions and the lyrics hold meaning, very inspiring. Actually I believe this album is much better than their last. Cannot wait to see what is next, they don't fail to impress, and they won't be losing a fan anytime soon.

About Devour the Day

Memphis, Tennessee hard rock band Devour the Day was formed by Joey Walser and Blake Allison after their former band, Egypt Central, had gone inactive in 2012. Once they recruited Ronnie Farris on drums and David Hoffman on guitar, the band set to work on their debut with Grammy-winning producer Skidd Mills (Skillet, Saliva, Saving Abel). In 2013, they released Time & Pressure, an album packed with anthemic choruses, melodic riffs, and muscular focus. Jeff James and Dustin Schoenhofer joined the band's touring line-up as they embarked on stints with Hinder, Sevendust, and Pop Evil. A year after the unveiling of Time & Pressure, they re-released a remastered version of the LP, including new and acoustic bonus tracks. In 2016, the band released S.O.A.R. which was preceded by single "Lightning In The Sky." ~ Gregory Heaney & Neil Z. Yeung
