Customer Reviews

Possibly the most underhyped, underrated, and unfortunately unknown album, that you NEED to have.

If you are checking this out, then chances are you already know who The Early November (TEN) is. And if you know who they are, then you are well aware of their fantastic singer, Ace Enders. Now take TEN's best songs, and make them acoustic. Sound great? Now take Ace, the mastermind behind much of TEN's work, and allow him to run free in the studio...and this is what you get. I remember debating on whether to buy this album...side projects sometimes lack the very qualities you liked so much about the artist's original work. But Ace totally--undeniably-- NAILS it. The whole CD has acoustic overtones and explores a variety of themes and motifs that prove a great sense of lyrical and musical maturity. Every song is enjoyable in one way or another, some more than others, some so much so that you'll start throwing them in your mixes. "Who's that ridiculously long-named band?" your friends will ask as they scan your iPod. "Only the greatest thing I've ever just took a chance on to buy." Enjoy.

This Band

Is one of my favorite bands to listen to. The guitar and vocals are well done and this is also the singer fro The Early November's band. I enjoyed it.

Absolutely amazing

So, like anyone else in that situation, he simply started a solo project -- the largely acoustic-based indie rock of I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business. Working with co-producer Chris Badami, Enders wrote and recorded his debut album in the span of a month. The intimate eponymous effort was released...
