SAVAGE GOLDEN

WOW,AGAIN ANOTHER MASTERPIECE TO PUT NYC ON THE MAP! EVERYTHING I HEARD FROM TOMBS IS EXCELLENT,AND THIS IS BY FAR THERE BEST TO DATE! I WOULD GET ALL THEIR STUFF! PERFECT RUNNER FOR 2014!

Three offerings from Tombs and they've already fallen from grace it seems. Upon listening to Savage Gold I had very high expectations. What I listened to was average, at times boring, and less eclectic than their previous efforts. A group that was once mesmerizing and eerily haunting has become a cookie cutter post/black metal outfit. How unfortunate.

Savage Gold is the solid. Every aspect of the record and all the tracks are empowering with a lot of highs and perfect down tempo sections. I have been exited for this album for quite some time and have not been disappointed! It is everything you could want to hear as a metal genre listener!
