EDITORS’ NOTES

A sold-out show at Madison Square Garden. A headlining slot at Coachella. Swedish House Mafia's meteoric rise mirrors the growth of electronic dance music not only as a genre but also as a culture. Two years after releasing Until One, Swedish House Mafia roars back with Until Now. For a new generation of dance music fans, the album might play more like a greatest-hits collection than a compilation. The original productions "Don't You Worry Child" and "Greyhound" are immediately recognizable by their fist-pumping, uplifting synths. Joint productions with Alesso ("Calling") and Tommy Trash ("Reload") highlight Sebastian Ingrosso's ability to create progressive house masterpieces. Steve Angello delivers high-quality production on "Lights," while Axwell's mix of "In My Mind" may be the album's preeminent track. Most significant, however, are collaborations with Coldplay ("Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall") and Usher ("Euphoria"). Electronic dance music has gone mainstream, and Swedish House Mafia is the catalyst.

Fan of OC

This album is perfect for fans who want SHM's previous singles all in one. Every song is incredible with powerful melodies and chords, especially Coldplay's beautiful addition. Each song has pretty much the same format, introducing the melody, breaking to a build up of pitch and drums, and then reintroducing the melody with the 4/4 kick... But that's only the style of the album. Oh yeah, and Miami 2 Ibiza doesn't have the "explicit" tag it has in other albums. Other than those two imperfections, the album is practically flawless musicly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I bought the song and it is incomplete. It ends early and abruptly.
P.S. Please reply I didn't know where else to address this issue.

About Swedish House Mafia

Swedish House Mafia were a house music supergroup featuring DJ/producers Axwell, Steve Angello, and Sebastian Ingrosso, each of whom was an accomplished DJ/producer and label owner in his own right. The members of the Swedish group initially teamed up in the mid-2000s, when they toured together as DJs and collaborated from time to time on one another's productions. (Eric Prydz was also a member for a while.) Axwell, Angello, and Ingrosso's breakout performance as Swedish House Mafia came on August 12, 2008, when they played the Main Room at Cream Amnesia in Ibiza, Spain as part of Radio 1's Essential Mix Ibiza.

Several years later, the trio signed a major-label recording contract with EMI (Astralwerks in the U.S.) and made their commercial production debut with the summer 2010 anthem "One," also known as "One (Your Name)," the latter version featuring Pharrell Williams of the Neptunes on vocals. The song was a Top Ten hit in the United Kingdom, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Belgium, and landed on the group's debut album, 2010's Until One. Two years later the group members announced they were breaking up and returning to their solo careers, although only after a farewell tour and the release of their second album, 2012's Until Now. Like the debut, it was extremely successful -- platinum-certified in Sweden. The release of One Last Tour: A Live Soundtrack brought the project to a close in 2014. ~ Jason Birchmeier
