A beautiful blend!

Jake Hamilton has always been passionate in his music and his words. He has taken his gifts to a whole new level by combining good old gospel music to his fervent and infectous style. This album is a "must have" by all! You will not be disappointed.

Glory!.

Following Jesus causes you to have a desire to allow Him to continually push you to greater heights for a greater cause. I believe that Jake Hamilton has let God use him to produce the music that calls for other musicians to enter into another realm of originality to produce what is truly on the Father's heart. This album shows the craftiness of the Holy Spirit mixed with the talent of one of my favorite musicians! Bless everyone who had part in making this album!!

Heart AND Soul

Honestly, when I heard that Jake Hamilton was doing a live recording, with civil rights era freedom songs, I was really excited. And then I heard the first track, down by the river. I cried. It was so beautiful. Each track after that just kept getting better. The rawness of this album is overwhelming. The emotion in each song grips my heart and makes me want to hear more. 13 tracks are not enough. I need a miracle is my favorite song on this album. I can hear Jakes heart through this song. Obviously, that song has a deep and special meaning, and I feel honored that he has shared such an intimate part of his life with his listeners and fans. It is absolutely the best. It has such a soulful feel with sick guitars and and the best keys I've ever heard. Thank you Jake, for envisioning this album and following through with it.
