Audio Quality

These radio broadcast transcriptions were originally aired live, long before the advent of high-fidelity. As a result, you may detect an occasional volume drop or surface noise, so common to early radio transcriptions.

Excellent content for the money but some audio issues

An excellent amount of shows for the price, many you can't find anywhere else. My only reason for not giving this 5 stars is the audio quality. Some shows are easy to hear and very clear while some other are almost impossible to hear and require some EQ fiddling to get them to be clear enough to hear. For the price though for all this content, I would still recommend this to all who enjoy this genre.

Classic vintage radio, especially the Price of Fear

This is really a great value. 65 tracks, all about half an hour. I listen to these while I'm in the lab running titrations. My only issue is that the sound quality is somewhat lacking. The sound can be quite unbalanced. I will turn the track up to hear the dialogue and then have my ears blasted out by a shrieking violin. I found the sound quality on the Creaking door to be worse than that on the Price of Fear.

I suppose you get what you pay for, but it would be really nice to have some of the static reduced out of these tracks.
