Good..but age has taken it's toll….

Nice arrangements and backing, but Al sounds tired….voice is not as strong as it used to be. At times it sounds as if he's really struggling. Go back and listen to all the classic CDs.

Phenomenal!

It is so great to hear Al Jarreau's voice. The CD is great, vibrant. His voice is clear and soothing, full of harmony. Wow! You are missing out on a treat. Get this one!

Still genius

What a great idea to have Al Jarreau with orchestra. Also getting Al's pop side mixed with Al's jazz side all on the same cd is something fresh and a treat for those of us that are true fans. The arrangements and performance, musically, is outstanding here, somehow inspiring Al to sing songs he has been singing 30 plus years with renewed passion. There are probably few of us who perform at 70 the same way we performed at 30 but you have to listen to Al in this setting, reacting to the orchestra, improvising with new ideas, and helping these old songs come alive. Listen with new ears not expecting Al from the past, but Al inspired by orchestra with a new take on these old compostions
