The Kingston Trio

I was a member of a KT tribute group back in my high school and college days, and listening to this great album brings those memories of good times rushing back. Its very sad to think that three of the first four members of of the trio have passed already.
I wouldn't be surprised if a revival of some of this genre occurs in the near future. Even some of the original folk performers still have magical voices....Judy Collins for example. Long live folk music.

A bargain at the low price, with 40 songs. Sound is clear, selections are great, and the voices are fresh. Was extremely pleased when I bought it for the low price and discovered I got a real deal. I also own the CD set The Capitol Years (which is very pricey), and I prefer this budget $7.99 album to the large remastered Capitol version. I think the reason is the remastered set sounds "canned", while this cheap cd sounds like you're siitting in the concert hall with the group.
