Good album.

The songwriting and production on "Hospice" are both noticeably better than on "The Dark Horse." I like the use of more melodic guitar lines, too.
I'm not one to pay much attention to vocals or lyrics, so I won't offer much of an opinion on them, other than that, yeah, they're on the album. Mr. Vocalist is doing his job adding a genre-appropriate yell. Check out Dear Old Tyger That Sleeps. It has a nice airy guitar line that carries through the song.

Completely missed the point

Since I work as a hospice nurse and am a huge metal fan, this one jumped out at me. I had to give it a try. I fear the boys in Achilles have missed the point. Hospice is not a synonym for bland guitars, horrid vocals, porr timing and generally making one feel bad. The goal behind hospice is to promote quality of life in those terminally ill. This album falls very short of that mark. After listening to it, I feel my quality of life has been diminshed.
