Holy friggin crap!! i was BLOWN AWAY by this!! it's like Circle of Contempt x10!!! theses guys r just freaking amazing!!!! BEST $5 I HAVE EVER SPENT!!

Metalcore done RIGHT.

Apostate shows a great level of concern for the little details that make all the difference in the world. When constructing an album in a genre that has thousands of others that incorporate similar aspects, a band really has to think outside the box, as well as be the best at everything the other bands attempt to try. Apostate does just that. They bring home everything you could ever want from a metalcore band. While the combo of screaming, shredding, and breakdowns may come off as repetitive from most bands, Seaborne shows a great level of consideration for creativity and makes sure the hooks are accentuated at the right time. The vocals are fairly midrange to low, but fit the music perfectly. He belts out the fairly creative lines with power and intent to move the listener. The guitars syncopate with the occasional drum beat, but for the most part they do their own thing, adding a lot of feel to the songs. This can be seen especially in the soft interludes where the guitar buildups really captivate. The bass is perfectly placed, and definitely leveled well in the mix. The drums are blistering and bring the feel of the songs to the next level, but some of the cymbals are leveled too high in the mix, especially the bell. Nonetheless, Apostate pulled together a clearly good combination of musicians to create Seaborne. If you want the best of the Czech Republic, pick this one up. The talent deserves the praise.
