Great music for a great movie

This movie is by far the most different and odd movie I have ever seen, however in my opinion it is an excellent one. Everything about the movie is wonderful, such as the casting, costumes, sets, and of course, the music. The soundtrack does a beautiful job of capturing the dark and quite funky mood of the movie. Even without seeing the movie you can appreciate the full beauty of the music and understand the life and body it brings to "Fur".

great music with a jazzy spirit

This album is just fantastic. The movie was a little weird at times but over all it was very good. But when i watched the movie, i noticed that music was just amazing. it gave this movie its spirit in a way. Carter Burwell is a very amazing artist of music. His music gives the mood, or feeling to a scene in the movie. For those that never seen the movie, i advise you to. You would know what i mean.

Simply Beautiful

I was drawn to the film by a few things: Robert Downey Jr, Nicole Kidman, the otherworldly theme. The music was a discovery and what a gem it is. The film and the music are both hauntingly beautiful. I can understand why those critics give the film lower rating than one would expect for such a cast and production - it is exactly the otherworldliness that makes the film so mesmerizing that alienates it from critics. The mood prevails over structure, logic and all those things for a solid film but it's nonetheless poetic and profoundly moving. The music captures exactly the feel. See the film. Don't just stop at the music and then you would want to have the soundtrack play over and over to re-live the film on your head.
