Heaven and Earth Featuring Stuart Smith

Well, someone at Itunes has some major misinformation attached to this music! It didn't come out in 1978 for starters, it came out in 1994 and its not a R&B record, but a rock album! Here is a better description of the music and the players: Back in 1994 Sweet guitarist Stuart Smith along with drummer Richie Onori put together the Heaven & Earth project which ended up becoming a worldwide classic for all rock fans and won Stuart Smith the award for "Best Guitarist" and "Best New CD" for three years running at the Los Angeles All Access Music Awards. The CD features a star studded cast with vocal and musical performances from Richie Sambora, (Bon Jovi), Joe Lynn Turner, (Rainbow), Glenn Hughes, (Deep Purple), Bobby Kimball, (Toto), Kelly Hansen, (Foreigner), Steve Priest, (Sweet), Carmine Appice, (Jeff Beck Group/Vanilla Fudge/Rod Stewart), Howard Leese, (Heart) and many others. Heaven & Earth features a mixture of diverse musical styles ranging from rock to blues to classical to power pop. The CD became an instant cult classic and brought Smith to the forefront of the guitar elite being compared in the press to Blackmore, Beck, Clapton and Page. None of the songs listed in the Itunes review even show up in the song list! Give it a try, you might like this hidden gem.

Wonderful album

I came across this by chance and listened to the previews..... then bought it straight away. Some fantastic guitar work on here. There are a few fillers but, overall, this is a great piece of work.

Under the direction of producer Clarence Johnson, they recorded four albums as Heaven & Earth: one for General Entertainment Corporation (GEC), three for Mercury (Phonogram) and one for WMOT. Brown recorded on the first album and subsequently departed the group in 1978 and was replaced by Dean...
