Album Review

Although the group spent three years between the release of Beneath the Rhythm and Sound and See, the Ocean Blue's style didn't change much in the intrem. The group's sound remains amiable, pleasant and melodic, relying on lightly jangling guitars and sighing vocals. See doesn't have many instantly memorable cuts, yet it is a stronger collection than its predecessor and indicates that their songwriting is beginning to deepen somewhat.

Anglophiles Rejoice!!!

The Ocean Blue is one of the most consistent and most consistently overlooked bands around. Not many bands can deliver such beautiful melodies, vocals, and evoke the moods that they do. On par with bands such as the Smiths, Sundays, etc., they don't deviate much from their formula but when it works why should they?! Check this out and everything else they've done while your at it, you won't be disappointed!

Anglophiles?

The Ocean Blue is from Pennsylvania ...

And to Arnold, the sole point of your review is to point out a typo ? Thanks for that contribution ....

Anyway, their first album is a masterpiece and unlikely to be equalled, but this is an interesting album and worth owning.

What's with the review?

I think the word you were looking for up there was "interim," not "intrem." Wow, iTunes has hit bottom with their reviews.
