...A Saturday night in the middle of nowhere America where town dances and community gatherings are still the norm. If you can't that's okay because most of us can't but buying this album will take you there. From the opening guitars of Senor to the slow and solemn tempo of Blue Jeans you will not only feel middle America but you will hear it and see it. With the help of Brian's amazing lyrics and the tempo's that they are crafted around you will experience a journey that at times feels lost but when the ep's closer comes on you will see a long drive home with your favorite someone nestled next to you and at that point you don't want it to end but you know it must. Luckily for us all we have to do is push play and The Gaslight Athem will take us there again and again so long as we're willing to let them.

Where did Rock and Roll go?'s right here!

Rock and Roll has been dead for far too long. In 2007 The Gaslight Anthem released their debut album "Sink Or Swim" and everyone fortunate enough to hear it, instantly fell in love with it. "Sink Or Swim" was so good many fans were worried that there would be no way they could keep up the pace. The fans were wrong. Senor and The Queen is wonderful! My favorite track is Blue Jeans and White T-Shirts, but there is not a bad track on this EP (in fact, TGA has yet to release a bad track). If you have not heard TGA before and are wondering which CD to get, here is my advice... BUY THEM BOTH. "Sink or Swim" was my album of the year and I know "Senor and The Queen" will dominate 2008. Lastly, as good as they are on CD, they are even better live! There are no fireworks, no coordinated dance moves and no flashy outfits... just good pure ROCK AND ROLL!

The Boss meets Against Me meets The Draft...this band truly is something special. Sink or Swim is one of the best records of 2007 and they do not dissapoint with this heavily anticipated EP...I can't wait for there new CD which will be out on SideOneDummy!

Formed: 2005 in New Brunswick, NJ

Genre: Alternative

Years Active: '00s, '10s

The Gaslight Anthem rose out of the fertile punk scene of New Brunswick, New Jersey, flaunting a unique style that melded the influence of Bruce Springsteen, Wilson Pickett, and various Motown groups with the rough, emotional grit of Hot Water Music and Jawbreaker. The band -- comprised of vocalist/guitarist Brian Fallon, bassist Alex Levine, drummer Benny Horowitz, and guitarist Alex Rosamilia -- began establishing a hometown audience after forming in 2005, and their soulful punk rock attracted...
