Mystic Ripped off all the bands

Please torrent this and not pay a dime to Mystic records. Or find the surviving band members and get it from them. Mystic records ripped of all the bands. And they haven't paid RKL at all! Ever! It's says plain and clear under the album art "Publishing Doug Moody". Like he wrote any of the songs. Don't support labels that rip off the musicians!

To know them is to love them

RKL is punk. They were punk, and this album is punk. Everytime I hear this it takes me back to Montecito, I.V. at the Red Barn and up the coast to SF. Now that you can buy your punk at the mall, and Jason is dead, the world of punk will never be the same. RIP Sears

The Mystic Recordings

This is not the best of RKL. It is however all of the Mystic recordings by the band. The Lifestyles of the Rich Kids on Lsd, a Rock N' Roll Nightmare(not yet available on itunes) is the best release by this unique band. I never thought of RKL as punk, but as hardcore. This stuff is fast and dark. The song "Why" was painfully prophetic of the bands future and ultimate demise after the substance abuse related deaths of both Bommer(drums) and Jason(vocals). With it's refrain of "I don't need it anymore and why I ever did before, Why? All my insecurities, excape that led to this disease addiction is something that I don't need". Heartbreaking, absolutely soul crushing reality. Jason wrote what he knew. Not bad for a bunch of high school dropouts! A+
