Farewell - Isn't This Supposed To Be Fun

Before you read this review, please note that I am not one of those people who hands out 5 star reviews. This is an honest review of a very decent debut album. Overall, I found it to have very little playback value. Farewell, whom sound very much like label mates Motion City Soundtrack bring the ever popular synth pop sound to a new level whilst only coming short of a few occasions. Start It Up did not hook me very well, and I found the song somewhat bland, but by song three, the lead single First One On The Blog, they had my toe tapping along. Stay Pretty is also an excellent song. Sing Baby is very original and stands out from the rest of the songs. Overall, this album is a great album is you LOVE synth pop, overall though, it's nothing to write home about. FOR FANS OF: Motion City Soundtrack, The Higher, Forever The Sickest Kids

New Favorite

Definitely one of the best albums of the year. Check out "cut you a new smile" and "stay pretty." The whole album is great though. I can't wait to hear what's next for these guys they are amazing
