Sensitive Touch is Peter Seiler's best album. This CD plays like a vinyl LP; it has two distinct sides. Seiler starts with some classically symphonic synthesizer music and segues — gently and assuredly — into deep, Berlin school electronica. He surrounds heavy sequences with nature samples, rock rhythms, and cloudy atmospheres. The soundscapes are not ambient, nor are they minimalist. They are closer to prog rock and they are excellent. This disc will appeal to fans of Patrick Kosmos, Software, and Robert Schroeder.
