iTunes Review

Nothing Has Changed is the first David Bowie compilation to bridge “Changes,” “Ziggy Stardust,” and other forever-potent glam anthems of his early years to his most current recordings. He pushed the parameters of pop music with the postmodern sonics of “Sound and Vision” and the dubbed-out funk of “Let’s Dance,” but the secret treasure is tucked at the end. The writhing jazz rhythms and wounded crooning of 2014’s “Sue (Or in a Season of Crime)” show that he never stopped searching for new inventions.

Customer Reviews

Honsedtly Smitten with this Man... in a good way...

... and as such he could probably release 99 minutes of the audio taken from him just padding around the apartment in New York; talking to himself, making coffee, talking on the phone, etc. and I would insist that it be nominated for an Emmy!
"The Next Day" was nothing short of STUNNING and this "new" release [November ? why oh Greatness ? WHY?] will only add to the ever increasing catalog of him awesomness...
Own some of his music ? You can ALWAYS use more so this is an EXCELLENT chance to fatten up your catalog / acquire some elements that have been lacking the [Re]master's touch
Have NONE of his music ? SHAME! - proceed to Pre-Order the happiness that is "Nothing Has Changed" THEN mouse on over to "The Next Day - Deluxe Edition" and purchase that as a starting place... hard to go wrong with ANY of his catalog, THOUGH PERSONALLY the three made in Berlin with Brian Eno, Iggy Pop, Robert Fripp, Carlos Alomar, et al are a stout start - those being "Low" / "Scary Monsters & SUper Creeps" /

even better!

"Everything has Changed" as it says on the inside of the CD case. Mr Bowie pretty much invented and owned glam rock. Stayed vital, inventive, stayed ahead of the curve and inspired many other artists to follow. that pretty much defines "everything has changed". As the "review" states, there are a few missing gems, I would add to that short list: "Putting Out Fire". Not sure if these songs were remastered but they sound even better than the original releases. Even if you own every Bowie album you should get this just for the sound. If you don't own any Bowie then you need this amazing retrospective.

A True ARTIST!

This extensive musical history of a true artist. If you explore the various moods & styles of his ever changing palette of sounds, one will never be disappointed.
