PRIMAL FEAR proves once again that METAL IS FOREVER!!!!!!

this is an absolutley PHENOMENAL album, in every way. DEMONS AND ANGELS kicks off with this absolutly gigantic riff backed up with keyboards, it practically blew out my speakers. ROLLERCOASTER, i'm not gonna lie, it reminds you of a modern screamo riff at first, but of course it's not, it's absolutley EXCELLENT. it might just be me, but during the chorus i almost feel like they were listening to disco when they wrote this (Burn Burn Burn!). then SEVEN SEALS takes it back down for a bit, the song on the overall is pretty slow and laid back, but the chorus is one of the best on the album. highly reccomended. EVIL SPELL has a hell of a riff, followed by and even better tune, THE IMMORTAL ONES, one of the album's highlights. this song, more than any other on the album is absolute CLASSIC PRIMAL FEAR. DIABOLUS is one of the most powerful songs on the album, and if you have no emotional change after this song you don't have a soul. ALL FOR ONE is the epic of the album, when you think power metal this song comes to mind. clean intro, high pitched yells, dueling guitars, layered vocals, basically excellent power metal. CARNIWAR is one of the heaviest songs on the album, the main riff at least. the contrast between RALF SHIBBERS's high pitched vocals combined with the low growling vocals make the song absolutley molten. QUESTION OF HONOR slows it down for a bit again, but still provides a heavy song. the album closes with IN MEMORY, which is a ballad in the truest sense of the word. however, it still delivers. not the most metal song on the album, but one of the most powerful, as well as most beautiful. reccomended tracks: DEMONS AND ANGELS, ROLLERCOASTER, SEVEN SEALS, THE IMMORTAL ONES, ALL FOR ONE, CARNIWAR, and IN MEMORY. KEEP ON ROCKIN \m/

The European power metal combo Primal Fear has been kicking around the metal underground for years, refining their brand of melodic riffing and soaring vocals. Their sound, highly influenced by Gamma Ray (who has traded members with this band) and Judas Priest, was introduced on their 1998 eponymous debut. The following year showed them gathering a press following when Jaws of Death gained them positive reviews from most respectable metal critics. On top of that, their European popularity flourished...
