Classic Lordi improved

I had to take a few listens to this album to give a proper opinion of it. There's something about these guys I like, and that's is how they have evolved every album into something new and different, but keeping it as it's core.

After how experimental Monstereophonic was (First part being what "Babez for Breakfast" didn't accomplish, second part being something way completely new) I feel like they decided to play it safe for this album. The music style in this I feel like is a combination from the experiences learned from their previous 3 albums.

Listening "Your Tongue's Got the Cat" for the first time I thought we were gonna have another retro style album. Then "Naked in My Cellar" pretty much sounded way more modern and a bit experimental, which showed pretty much the direction of the album more solidly.

As for they quoted "our most controversial album to date"; lyrically, I can see it a bit more adult rated content; musically, it's more on their safe zone. I wouldn't still call it as controversial as their music video of "Hug You Hardcore", this album is just more lewd in my opinion.

Something I like to praise with their new line up is how Hella is more involved than Enary or Awa ever were, I really appreciate she has been doing more vocals and more keyboard parts than her predecessors.

Overall, this album is more into their safe zone, with little "new" content, but still is a good listen.
