Customer Reviews

Although this Caedmon's Call CD is one that is without Derek Webb, Share the Well is one of my favorite CDs. The World Music influence merged with strong lyrics create a project worth noting. Standout tracks include All I Need (I Did Not Catch Her Name), Bombay Rain, The Innocent's Corner, and Dalit Hymn.

heart for the world

This album reveals the warm and open hearts of this band... they truly care about the world and travel it unselfishly. They sing about what they have seen in their travels and they are honest but not condescending. The overall message is one of gratitude and humility. And the music is above par, as usual. Volcanoland showcases the band's capacity for high energy music that makes me want to dance. Mother India, Share the Well, and the Roses are full of compassion, melody, and stunning vocals by the female lead. And International Love Song is a fantastic, sweet and pure love song. This album is a joy.

Their best all around effort!

Although I love each Caedmon's Call cd, this is my favorite. The world music influences and typical Caedmon's precussion emphasis mesh perfectly. Some of my highlight tracks are "Share the well", "Only one (holy one)", "Mother India", "Bombay rain", and "Dalit Hymn". Caedmon's heart for the world in missions is clearly evident here and I can't think of too many concerts that I enjoyed more than the tour they did to support this cd. Please make it one for your collection, you won't be sorry!

The group originally included Aaron Tate, who left the band shortly after its formation, but he continued to write songs with Young. After...
