Album Review

Lee Brice doesn’t look much like a star on the cover of his debut, Love Like Crazy — sweet enough guy, but the backwards ball cap and close-cropped beard suggest the jock next door, which is kind of what he is. A former football player, Brice turned to music after an injury, and while he doesn’t have the macho swing usually associated with football players, he does possess a crowd-pleasing instinct that’s not without some charm. Brice has an ability to seem like your own local boy made good, which gives these cheerfully generic tunes personality and appeal.

Loving this like CRAZY

Love like crazy is easily one of my all time favorite songs... I've had it on repeat now for... a while. Pretty sure I know every word lol. It gets across a very sincere message just about being a general good person and how to have a happy and rich life while maybe not all the time being monitarily rich...

If you like Lee brice, I'd also suggest checking out Tyler Barham. If you like "Falling apart together" You will probably like Tyler's Love for a little while.

Lee Brice is going to be HUGE!

I've waited and waited on this and thank goodness it is NOT a letdown! This album is already one of my all-time favorite country albums! I have a feeling Lee Brice and Easton Corbin will have their names mentioned right along with Brad, Kenny and Keith one day! I love all the songs, but if I'm picking a favorite I'll go with "Some Things".

Some things!

Crazy good!

At the dawn of the 2010s, a time when mainstream country teemed with buff hunks singing party-hearty anthems, Lee Brice offered a subtler alternative. Also raised on a combination of contemporary rock and post-Garth Brooks country, Brice gravitated toward craft, not bluster. He wasn't adverse to good times -- he had a country hit in 2013 called "Parking Lot Party" -- but he specialized in heart-on-sleeve ballads like "A Woman Like You," "Hard to Love," "I Drive Your Truck," and "I Don't Dance," Top...
