lol i have no idea what any of this sht is but its pretty crazy. I dont know if anyone else will find this album of various artist but if you do i just wanted there to be a review here to let you know that i found this sht mad weird as well. I dont know how you made it to this album but the way i did was starting from weezer, then clicking on Matt Sharp, then clicking on his top song which is "We Have a Technical" which is with Damon Albarn. I also found it funny that There are a couple of versions of "Are 'Friends' Electric?" on this mix because it made me think of Gary and then also the fact that The Dead Weather did a version of that also just recently. If you have read all this then cool. I just wanted to put something up on here because i never really write reviews and i am curious to see if anyone writes anything also or ever even find this stuff.

Holy Whoa!

I saw this album in stores when I was in highschool (I graduated in 98)! I found it then (never bought it for some reason) because I was a fan of Gary Numan and especially of Pop Will Eat Itself. So in my searches for PWEI discs, which are were hard to find in stores back then, I found this album. I was excited to get it b/c it had redone Gary Numan songs and PWEI. Of course, I then found Gravity Kills and The Orb were on it and knew it would be good. Went back to the store to buy it and it was gone. Hadn't really thought much about it until tonight when I decided to try to find the PWEI remix album "Two Fingers My Friends" and came across this instead. What a throwback! :D A lot of interesting stuff on here!

An eclectic collection of artists

Random on the surface appears to be tribute album to Gary Numan and Tubeway Army. I say on the surface because nowhere on the album cover or on iTunes does it mention Gary. Artists like Saint Etienne and Damon Albarn of Blur really brings back memories. I never knew this compilation existed at the time of its release, even though I have always been a moderate fan of Gary, and some of these artists I like a lot.

Nothing shockingly good here, but if you're a fan of the Gary of late 90's music it's probably worth the price tag.
