Passable release of a brilliant score

First of all, let me say that Shiro Sagisu has contributed one of the best Godzilla soundtracks to date, and that's saying a lot coming from someone who owns the CDs of all the other Godzilla film's soundtracks.
This release appears to only contain the film edits, which only really benefits "Who Will Know". The CD version is far superior however, with what seem to be the original suites and extended versions of the tracks found on this release. For example, the already phenomenal "Persecution of the Masses" opens up with Godzilla's footsteps and roar, and doesn't fade out at the end, and the atmosphere of the track just skyrockets because of it. Also, the theme from "Terror of Mechagodzilla", instead of looping in the middle, plays what appears to be a complete re-recording of the same track!
It's pretty cheap right now for an import CD, so seek out that version instead, if you can.

Note on track names

The last track on here is titled "Invasion of Astro Monster Main Title part 2". It's actually the main title theme from Godzilla vs. Mechagodzilla 2. No idea why they biffed that up. Anyway this soundtrack owns.

Poor score, way too much recycled music!

The score for this film had an incredible amount of potential. I expected a score in the style of Attack on Titan since both films were scored by Shiro Sagisu. We got a weak, underdeveloped score. However, Sagisu is not to blame. The directors used a ridiculous amount of recycled music which severally impacted and dampened Sagisu's orchestral ability. There was no "theme" I could pick up on. Overall, I feel Sagisu did his best considering what he had to work with.
