New York band (Kit West, Balle Legend, Mariposa) which enjoyed both underground cult status and overground success with singles such as the club classic ‘Do You Want It Right Now’ (number 31), featuring the vocals of Biti in 1992. It had originally been released on the Esquire imprint in the US, before transferring to ffrr Records. The song itself had first appeared on Taylor Dayne’s Tell It To My Heart album in 1988. It was produced by Richie Jones with keyboards from Eric Kupper, and topped the Record Mirror Club Chart for no less than four weeks. Other hits included ‘Shine On’ (number 43, remixed by Farley & Heller, again originally on Esquire) and ‘Soul Freedom - Free Your Soul’ (number 64), on the ffrr imprint, while Jones remixed Sheer Bronze’s ‘I’m Walkin’’.
