How Limp became the biggest band of the year(and only a year)

This is Limps best record. Wes Boreland is really the main reason behind that. He is able to make this into a hybred album. And everyone has to admit that they all would do it for the Nookie. Fred is at his lyrical high(which to most won't mean anything) but they aren't that bad lyrics. And he actaully does a decent job singing. The only problem is that this effort by Fred still brings the band down. But not low enought to make this ablum good. Actaully Significant Other is like that mohawk you had in highschool. It was cool for the time, everyone had it, and looking back you relize how lame it was but you still keep looking at the photo again and again just like you will keep listing to this record(of course when no one is watching you).

Sam Rivers doesn't get the credit he deserves

Yes, we all know Wes Borland is an amazing guitar player but I wouldn't say he's the person that makes the band. Sam Rivers plays a lot of really intricate bass lines, particularly on the high side of the tone spectrum that are both underrated, and very impressive. Easily one of the best bass players I've heard in a long time and, so far, I have yet to see anyone who has adopted his style. The smooth transitions and tones in the mellower songs are second to none. So listen closely, and give the man the credit he deserves.

Who reading this CARES about "Blood On The Tracks"?

This is Limp's best album. They play all their cards on this one, and they're not afraid to do it. If they could have kept this kind of vibe going and expanded upon it, they'd still be around today. (And where's the Les Claypool bonus track?)

Genre: Rock

Years Active: '90s, '00s, '10s

The rap-metal outfit Limp Bizkit was formed in Florida in 1994 by vocalist Fred Durst and his friend, bassist Sam Rivers. Rivers' cousin John Otto soon joined on drums, and guitarist Wes Borland completed the original foursome (later supplemented by DJ Lethal). After Korn played the Jacksonville area in 1995, bassist Fieldy got several tattoos from Durst (a tattoo artist) and the two became friends. The next time Korn were in the area, they picked up Limp Bizkit's demo tape and were so impressed...
