Album Review

Composer Akira Yamaoka, who created the soundtrack for the Silent Hill video game, and film composer Jeff Danna team up to score Silent Hill: Revelation 3D, the second installment of the horror franchise. With a balance of eerie atmosphere and creeping tension, the score helps bring the otherworldly psychological horror from the console to the big screen, and is a great listen for fans of the franchise looking to add a little dark ambience to their day-to-day lives.

Movie not the best, but the music was killer

This movie was really not the best. It had none of the finesse and elegance I usually expect from the franchise, but that's okay. It was still atmospherically awesome and had some great elements. One of the best elements was definitely the soundtrack.

If you're a big silent hill fan you want this album. It submerges you back in the world with some familiar riffs and takes you to new places with new songs and sounds. Even if you don't see the movie, I'd suggest buying the album. As a score it takes you on a thrill ride all its own.

Silent Hill: Revalations

Great movie, crazy soundtrack, will be the next album I buy.

Eh... Revelations was a good movie but the 1st was better

Ok the movie was good but the 1st was better... The soundtrack was good it had some music from parts that I like. I also like how the soundtrack matches the creepy enviroment in the movie, and keeps up with all the action!... One of the problems I had with the movie though was that they were trying to hard to make it scary and action packed! Silent hill is not all about action! But the soundtrack keeps up with everything even though it all happens so fast!... Great I would reccomend this to anyone who loves silent hill and this movie!
