Album Review

M.A.N.D.Y.'s two-disc DJ mix for the Renaissance label reaches back to 1989 for the Black Dog's Virtual but tends to stick to contemporary material (favorites issued during 2008 and 2009). There's plenty of skillful veering between playful and stern tracks, highlighted by Felix da Housecat's "Silver Screen (Shower Scene)," DJ Koze's "Mr. Bojangels," Glimpse & Alex Jones' "Cambria," and Bodycode's "Immune."
