iTunes Review

This long-running pop-jazz group celebrates its 25th anniversary in fitting fashion, with a set of songs referencing silver. The mostly instrumental offering delivers reams of smooth and lightly bluesy playing, with bassist Nathan East’s melodic lines standing out in particular. Keyboardist Bob James pays tribute to Horace Silver on “Horace," in which the song’s laidback strut evokes something of the master's style. Guitarist Chuck Loeb and drummer Harvey Mason also bring a relaxed, swinging mood to the ensemble’s sound.

A beautiful blend

I've purchased every single album since 1991. This album starts off like the opening album with that Bali Run feel. Outstanding entrance! Outstanding sequence! Outstanding album! Thanks Bob, Nathan, Harvey and Chuck.

Brilliant!! Love love love Quicksilver. Such a great collaboration. Nathan's runs tie every peace together like fine weaving. A nice change up of sequence makes for interesting dynamic. The best album ever guys!!!!!

Very Very Good CD!!!!

Not sure if this one can be out done. This is very well put tougher album. I love 8 out of 10 songs which has been really rare for albums. You guys really know how so keep jazz alive! Thank you so much for a incredible release! Love this darn album!!!!!!

They have since recorded a number of CDs for Warner Bros. that have all been big sellers, not surprising considering the popularity of James and Ritenour. Larry Carlton took over the guitarist's spot in the late '90s, first appearing in Fourplay on the band's successful 1998...
