Stellar Performance!!

This Album is an exceptional example of the talent and hardworking attitude in this band. Not only are the riffs pure gold, but the lyrically content hits the nail on the head with the songs "Progression" and "Cicada Mania". The intricate guitar work with the steady but sporadic drums and the smoothness of the bass only compliments the spacious vocal and often soft melodies. You wont be disappointed if you purchase this album. Gamenight brings everything and then-some to the table! So consider it GAME ON!!

Great Freshman Effort

"Simple" shows the advancement of indie rock at its best. The collaboration of Josh Manis and Robby Kerr on guitar is enlightening as they alternate technical leads seamlessly. They make every track interesting with everything from fingertapping to straight rock chord progressions, technical strum patterns, and dynamic key changes and time structure shifts. Josh's vocals are poetic, the melodies inventive, and all the while the music stays catchy. Brandon Manis holds it all together with percussion that is anything but ordinary. He plays the drums with the same attention to melody as the guitarists and bassist. The bass lines, by Caleb Boaz, are intriguing and stand out in the melody moreso than a lot of bass parts do. He almost treats the bass like a guitar in the realm of technicality. Gamenight is anticipating a sophomore release sometime following a grueling summer tour taking them all across the US. Look them up to catch Josh, Brandon, Robby, and new bassist Matt Presley on the road this summer... their live shows exemplify how talented these guys really are.
