Six personal vignettes ensure the teenage rapper’s dizzying ascent continues. Athletic, evocative radio freestyles announced the South Londoner as a vastly promising MC and his first EP lifts him a few more rungs towards greatness. Nas comparisons are unavoidable when he paints such enthrallingly vivid portraits of his environment as “Picture Me” and “Panic Attack”. He’s a talented pianist too, and his music–co-produced with Kano collaborator Fraser T Smith–is as absorbingly soulful as his thought-provoking flow.

I truly believe Dave did not need Drake to remix his song, Wanna Know. His talent is remarkable and refreshing.
