One of the best ever...

This album was a defining moment in music for me. The band flawlessly mixes melancholy and lighthearted tones with an aggressive attack. I have bought their new album but it has not made the same lasting impression as this one has. This is truely a gem amongst albums.

great album

I first heard of this band after hearing that they opened for coldplay on their australian tour. i bought this cd (this was before forever young had come out) and from the opening drums of shadowland i was hooked. i'm not sure what it is about this album, but i enjoy it more than casino twilight dogs. toby martin's lyrics provoke so much emotion. this is definitely one of the albums you will turn to when you are very sad, and those are always my favourite albums. a must have for any lover of indie music.

this album and this band are simply amazing, its so easy to listen to and has such a different sound than anything else ive heard thats come out in a while they have some true talentt
