iTunes Review

Entrancing electronica executed with utter confidence—and big pop hooks. Harley Streten’s dense production and can’t-teach radio-friendly choruses installed him as dance music’s fashionably brainy coming man, and this second album broadens his appeal and horizons. “Never Be Like You” is your starting point—a slinky, proper hit roughed up by Streten’s jabbing beats—but thanks to his cartel of collaborators, we’re spoiled. Kučka’s contributions provide some of the more halting moments, Raekwon is a devastatingly ominous presence (“You Know”), while Beck lends Skin its poised emotional climax on closer “Tiny Cities.”

So far, this is GOLD

Flume really has outdone himself with this new album so far very excited for it

Great, but falls short 7/10

As a huge Flume fan, this album was my obsession since announcement. Now that it's out, only 4-5 songs are simply flawless. The rest? Either cut from the album, or are WAY too poppy or have no drops from confusing build up. WEWN had so much potential, but just fell FLAT. Amazing job on the few beautifully crafted songs, however. But it isn't as good as his debut. (On a side note, I'm guaranteeing you will love 'Take a Chance' , seriously my top favorite flume track now.)

Even though only 4 tracks are released, they are ALL AMAZING. So ecstatic for what is to come! Have been a long time fan, and cannot wait to hear what he has in store for us!!!!!
x love from PA.
