Album Review

Alasdair Fraser is one of the premier violinists playing in the Celtic music genre. On this collection of tunes from his native Scotland, Fraser proves to be as adept at lively reels as he is at soulful ballads. Backed primarily by Paul Machlis on piano and very subtle synthesizer, he offers us his heartfelt renditions of these traditional pieces. ~ Backroads Music/Heartbeats, Rovi

Another Incredible Performance

I had the opportunity to meet Alasdair Fraser when he was performing with Natalie Haas in Hawaii. I am absolutely in love with all of his music, as I connect to it with my Welsh and Irish roots. This album is yet another superior compilation of traditional tunes brought to life with Alasdair's wonderful fiddling style and prowess. You will not regret buying this album.

Had the priviledge of meeting Alasdair and watching Skydance perform in Austin, Texas years ago. (I've been hooked ever since!!!) This is a great album, you won't regret buying it! (Wish the Band would start performing again.... YOU ARE MISSED

This is a classic

Everyone needs this album.
