Outstanding Release!

This rocks from beginning to end! The new tracks are my favorites, but the re-imagined Dokken tracks are really good too. They have a completely new sound with different vocals. I recently read an interview with Don Dokken saying that George was a great guitarist but his time has passed. One listen to this should prove to everyone that George Lynch is still one of the best rock guitarists around. I was always a fan of Dokken and then kept up with both camps as Dokken and George split. I recently downloaded the new Dokken release "Broken Bones". Although it was great to have another Dokken album out, it really seemed to lack the fire and energy of the Dokken releases of the past. Slave To The Empire is miles above the latest Dokken release and a welcome sight in the world of music! These guys know how to put together a solid CD. Let's hope they continue to release more material together. If it's anything like's bound for glory.

rockin w/o Dokken

no down tuning needed..boys are back on the attack ..

Missing the song writer.

Big fan of Dokken & have followed Lynch Mob as well. This is worth a buy for the fan but lacks the song writing of Don Dokken. The new Dokken is a outstanding release. Great to see any new material from both camps. The new Lynch Mob EP is good as well.

Bolstered by the hard-hitting drumwork of Brian Tichy, the band's debut album, 2012's Slave to the Empire, featured seven original tracks, five re-recorded Dokken...
