Gorgeous music and well-chosen concert

I caught this concert on "Great Performances" and thought the concept, musical selections and execution were terriffic. I was actually trying to recreate the different pieces when I found that (shocking), it was already available here on iTunes! It's a very well-chosen concert, and it looks like the album has a few tracks that didn't make the TV cut, so that's exciting too!

Immediately Captivated!

In only one track, I was completely mesmerized. Every measure of 'Salome' pulled my attention more.

Gustavo Dudamel's skillful conducting and dedication to music drew international attention while he was just in his twenties and continues to attract diverse audiences throughout the world. Dudamel began violin lessons at age 10 in Venezuela's El Sistema music program and then began studying conducting in 1995 with Rodolfo Saglimbeni.
