Epic Forever

Another gem from the remarkable songwriter Epic Sountracks, though his best work remains in my opinion his debut album "Rise Above". This one is a delicate and melancholic collection of tunes. A bit downer and sad. Still the beauty of the composition and the presence of more rock'n roll tunes makes it shine and not to depressive.
In this album, some wonderful songs such as "Waiting For The Train" or "Tired Eyes" are my personal favorites.

Perhaps best known as a co-founder of British post-punkers Swell Maps, Epic Soundtracks reinvented himself as an eccentric, critically acclaimed piano balladeer during the '90s. Soundtracks — who trademarked his stage name, forcing Epic Records' soundtrack division to change its spelling to "Soundtrax" — was born Kevin Paul Godfrey in Croydon, England, on March 23, 1959 (although several sources list Paul Godley).
