Editors’ Notes

Drenched in the angst of young adulthood, with rueful lyrics and vocals and uplifting pop progressions, John Rzeznik is like a smarter, sadder Jon Bon Jovi, able to write about weighty subjects such as teen pregnancy (“Slide”), bar-stool faithlessness (“Broadway”), and heroin addiction (“Black Balloon”) while a mass audience sings along.

The best album

This is by far the goo's best album. The first 3 songs were all chart toppers, and there at least 5 different songs on this album that hit the charts. This is true goo goo doll tallent right here. The first album I listened to by them, and still my favorite today.

WoW this album brought back the summer of 98'

This album brought back memories the summer of 98' schools out, chillin' with your friends, lifeguard summer job, and mobbin' in my wangler with the top down.

A GREAT 90's rock album!

My favorites are "Iris" and "Slide". I also recommend that you buy "slide from here instead of the greatest hits, because it's only 99 cents here.
