The sophomore project from Young Nudy is masterfully produced—mostly by frequent collaborator Pi’erre Bourne—but still rough around the edges, full of anthems for running Atlanta’s Zone 6. Over Bourne’s melancholy melodies on “Blessings,” Nudy promises, in his choppy, brisk flow, to survive in the game and take care of his homies. He also joins forces with Slaughter Gang head honcho 21 Savage on highlight “EA,” a grimy, experimental cut peppered with the sounds of errant gunfire.
