Great easy listening

This is a really great band. While the songs might not jump out at you at first, they grow on you each time you listen. Not one really weak track on the album, if I had a favorite it would be numbers. The addition of the chelo gives the music and interesting sound. Overall it's a great album and band, definitely worth a listen.

10 Songs that leave you full...but begging for more!

From the opening explosion of melodies introduced in "Ten Hundred Lights" to the deeply moving strands of sound lacing "Relative is Relative" Pompeii's freshman album is a near flawless gem. The reassuring, resounding hum of the cello is uniquely fitting to all of "Assembly", and positively breathtaking in what may be the most completely awe-inspiring song of the age, "Numbers." Needing no comparisons to give their music credentials, Pompeii certainly stands on their own. I can't wait for another album.

Pompeii excites me just about as much as my leprechaun flute which was passed down from hundreds of years ago from my great grandfather, and his cello. Give me the gold, I want the gold.
