when i was in 4th grade (in 6th grade now) my teacher would put this on in the class when we had rainy days and we also had a talent show but the best song would have to be 15 animals and these are verry school educating !! well not really but there really good i cant wait till the next one comes out ps i still listen to it today

Busy Busy Busy!

I use this song in my 2nd grade class when the kids are getting ready for the day. They enjoy singing it while they get ready, and they try to finish before the song is over. We also enjoy "Philadelphia Chickens".

Great album for all ages!

Sandra Boynton's "Philadelphia Chickens" is one of the few children's albums that adults really can get into. It's all faux show tunes in different styles. Lots of them are funny, like Fifteen Animals about someone who has 15 pets, all named "Bob" and "Faraway Cookies" abou a little kid who isn't tall enough to reach the chocolate chip cookies. It also has an all star case including Meryl Streep, Kevin Bacon, Kevin Kline, Scott Bakula (yes, he can sing), and Eric Stotz. I listen to this in the car and it's very entertaining. If you want another children's album that won't drive adults crazy, also check out "Dog Train" by Sandra Boynton. It's the same idea as this album, but it's rock and roll songs in different styles by an all star cast. These two are among my favorite albums.
