Customer Reviews

Love this album!

It's got all the energetic, catchy melodies of his earlier music I heard my parents play all through my childhood. Some beautiful, poetic lyrics as well. I can't stop listening to these gems.

Bright, fresh, thoughtful

I've been a Paul Simon fan for ages, but hadn't picked up much of his new work. I'm so glad I bought this alb. It's brilliantly written, with great lyrics and music that captures so manny different moods. The album is by turns playful and reflective, spiritual and bouncy and alive. It's on standard rotation for me.

Master work!

This albums ranks with Simon's best work. His lyrics are poetry set to music. The instrumentation and use of ideas and sound s from varied sources (a preacher's recording? Genius) are unparalleled. A beautiful and crowning achievement.
